Solutia Reserve, Gwent Wild Life Trust is a rare case of how technology and industry can coexist in such an harmonious way. Solutia, an American Chemical Plant located in Newport , South Wales/UK, is extremely commited to minimize its environmental impact while always looking for the best ways to give back to its surounding communities. In this particular case, a giant industry have been lending some of their land by a symbolic amount of "1 pound" the Gwent Wild Life National Trust for them to manage. The trust manages this incredible piece of land that is completely open and free to be walked by the community members or anyone interested. ..A walk through this landscapes can be extremely rewarding at observing so many different types of bug species, plants, flowers and one can even find a cycle pass. This last one was built crossing right the middle of the reserve. ..This visit is just a small part of a longterm project where I pretend to document and showcase different examples of how the world is slowly changing and how human awareness and consequently business awareness is trending in a better direction for our survival as a species. More to come soon.....Mandatory Credit: PedroPimentel.net.
